The LD 3440 lamp has been specifically designed for installation in handrails of buses, trams, and other public transport vehicles, where it serves both as a signal light and as an element enhancing passenger comfort and safety. Its compact design allows mounting inside a tube so that the front part of the lamp is flush with the outer surface of the profile.
Design and installation features
The set includes a mounting spring that facilitates positioning of the lamp inside the tube. The lamp can be secured in two ways:
– using two metric M4x20 set screws, pressing against the opposite wall of the tube,
– or using screws with a pan head, fastened to the front wall of the tube.
The lamp fits tubes with an outer diameter of 30 mm, both round and rectangular closed profiles.
Two black wires with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² and a length of 13 cm were used for the power supply. One of them corresponds to the positive pole (+), while the other corresponds to the negative pole (–).
Certificates and compliance
The product is certified for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for vehicles and bears the CE marking, confirming compliance with applicable quality and safety standards.
