HORPOL (“HOR” comes from the surname of the company’s founder, HORECZY, “POL” – as a Polish manufacturer) is a company with family traditions. For over four decades now, HORPOL has been at the forefront of designing and producing high-quality lights for automotive industry. As we approach 2024, HORPOL proudly celebrates its milestone by joining the ranks of distinguished companies that have made remarkable contributions to establishing a Polish-owned brand known for innovation and excellence. Throughout the years, our company has achieved the position of one of the largest suppliers of automotive lighting in Poland and is gradually developing distribution on foreign markets.

Distinction in “Family Business” ranking 2023
We have a pleasure to announce that company Horpol has once again received a distinction in ranking – Family Business Forum. This is what LEM SSV (side-by-side vehicle) looks like! The first electric vehicle built by students!
On July 8, 2022, we had the pleasure to participate in the premiere of a racing car, presented by students of the Science Club for Mobile Vehicles and Robots from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology!

The premiere of the MAVIC combination lamps at the SOLUTRANS 2021 trade fair

One of significant events of 2021 was the eagerly awaited by trade partners and distributors premiere of the modern MAVIC multifunction lights. This model is distinguished by innovative, energy-saving LED technology, effective light and an aesthetic design that looks great on truck bumpers. It was first presented on our stand at the SOLUTRANS 2021 trade fair taking place from 16 to 20 November in Lyon, France. Two weeks later it was officially launched, breaking popularity records from the beginning.

High place in the Forbes monthly ranking in the Family Business Forum 2021 category

The year 2021 was full of achievements. One of the biggest by far is the distinction we obtained in the Forbes monthly ranking in the Family Business Forum 2021 category. This prestigious award is a confirmation of the long tradition and family values that have guided the company since its foundation. Along with a gala, a series of meetings was organised in various cities, during which entrepreneurs had the opportunity to talk about how they coped with the changes and the current crisis caused by the pandemic.

Opening of a new production and assembly hall

An event which was specially important for the development of our company was the construction of a new production and assembly hall with innovative equipment. We have gained additional 750 m² of production space and comfortable assembly halls totalling 800 m². As a result, we could afford to increase the number of employees by 15%. In addition, we purchased new injection moulding machines for processing plastic with a clamping force of 50 to 270 tonnes.

The premiere of the social campaign “I am looking. Do I see?”

We have recently become a strategic partner of an important social campaign “I am looking. Do I see?”, created in cooperation with the Truckers Life Foundation. Its main aim is to make other road users aware that a truck driver has a significantly reduced visibility when sitting in his cab. As part of the campaign, videos were made to illustrate what the phenomenon known as blind spot is. From 5th July 2021 educational materials are made available via a special Foundation profile on YouTube and Facebook.
